Ridgeview Man Wins $30,000 Playing Bejeweled™

CHARLESTON, W.Va. – West Virginia Lottery Director John Musgrave announced today that Jonathan Boulet of Ridgeview has claimed a $30,000 prize from the West Virginia Lottery's $3 instant game Bejeweled™.

Boulet, 27, purchased the winning ticket at 7-11 #5550 in Childress Plaza in South Charleston.

“I couldn't believe it when I scratched the ticket off,” Boulet said. “I told myself that this could not be right so I immediately walked back into the store for them to check and I was shocked.”

Boulet says he does play lottery instant games from time to time and his favorite, even before his big win, has been Bejeweled™.

“It just always seems like I win my money back or a prize when I play it and now this,” Boulet said.

He says he plans to use his winnings to pay bills and help his immediate family.
