Powerball® Jackpot Currently at $400 Million

CHARLESTON, W.Va. – The current estimated jackpot of $400 million for the Wednesday, September 18, Powerball® drawing is the fourth largest in the game’s history.

The most recent Powerball® jackpot to reach the $400 million or above mark was the August 7 jackpot of $448.4 million that was shared between three winning tickets in New Jersey and Minnesota. The largest Powerball® jackpot to date of $590.5 million was claimed on May 18 by Gloria Mackenzie of Florida.

Powerball is played in 45 U.S. lottery jurisdictions.
