West Virginia Lottery Celebrates ADDY Award Wins

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (March 1, 2018) — The West Virginia Lottery is celebrating several wins from the West Virginia American Advertising Awards ceremony held on February 22, 2018 at Mardi Gras Casino and Resort in Cross Lanes, WV. The Lottery, in partnership with Digital Relativity, was awarded 3 Gold ADDYs and 1 Silver ADDY, along with the Judges’ Choice Award for the Pigs Flying TV Spot.

The “It Could Happen to You” campaign had a lucky night during the 2017 West Virginia ADDY Awards, winning a total of 6 awards. The Lucky Cat Holiday TV spots were awarded a Silver and a Gold ADDY and the “It Could Happen to You” campaign and TV spots were awarded Gold ADDYs. The Pigs Flying TV Spot was honored with a Gold ADDY and the Judges’ Choice award.

These awards are eligible to compete in the District 5 ADDY Awards. District 5 of the American Advertising Federation encompasses all of West Virginia, Kentucky and Ohio. Judging for the district awards will be held on March 23-24. .
