The West Virginia Lottery Partners on WV Heroes Program
June 20, 2019MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – As we celebrate West Virginia Day across the mountain state, WVU, Learfield IMG College Ticket Solutions and the West Virginia Lottery have announced they will once again team up to take care of those that serve and protect us each and every day with the WV Heroes program!
For just $20 per ticket, you can provide a memorable experience to local West Virginia veterans, active duty military, and first responders and their families by sending them to a Mountaineer football game this fall. The West Virginia Lottery will match the first 500 tickets purchased for the WV Heroes program.
“After a successful launch of this program last season, WVU Athletics is excited to again partner with the West Virginia Lottery to provide this opportunity to give back to our military members, veterans, first responders, and their families,” Senior Associate Athletic Director of External Affairs, Matt Wells said.
“The West Virginia Lottery is proud to support the WV Heroes program that gives back to our military families, veterans and first responders,” Kayla Brown Giordano, Deputy Director of Marketing for the West Virginia Lottery said. “The West Virginia Lottery is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for all West Virginians, and it’s an honor to be able to give back to the heroes and their families who sacrifice so much.”
Fans that sponsor five or more HEROES will be entered to win pregame field passes and other prizes.
