Price Is Right Game Offers Second Chance Drawing For Trips, Prizes

Patterned after the legendary Price Is Right® game show, the West Virginia Lottery plans to introduce an instant game on Feb. 16 offering players the chance to win one of seven trips to Las Vegas for a four-day, three-night trip for two as well as $1,000 spending money, a $4,000 cash prize and tickets to attend The Price Is Right Experience Game.

Lottery Director John Musgrave said seven lotteries would be participating in the special promotion, drawing winners in their respective jurisdictions. In addition to West Virginia, they include Colorado, DC, Idaho, Kentucky, Ohio, and South Carolina. Musgrave said each prizewinner from West Virginia attending the game show will be randomly mixed with the winners from other participating lotteries for a chance to go on stage to win up to $1 million.

Entries for the drawings are included in the West Virginia Lottery’s The Price Is Right® instant game; tickets will be available for as long as ticket quantities last or until the Lottery announces the end of the game.

Musgrave said that as a convenience to players the entry tickets will be printed on a simple mail-in resembling a post card. “It is important for players to know, however, that only tickets purchased from WV Lottery retailers can be entered into our drawings; tickets purchased from other lotteries must be mailed to those respective lotteries.”

Musgrave said three entries would be drawn on Friday, May 1; the remaining four will be drawn on Sept. 11.
