Daily 3 Players Win Big with 2-2-2

CHARLESTON, W.Va. – The West Virginia Lottery’s Daily 3 players won big on Wednesday (Nov. 29, 2017) when the numbers 2-2-2 were drawn. The triple twos led to a total of 1,326 tickets sharing a hefty prize pay out of $331,500 for the night.

“Our Daily 3 players won big last night and we could not be happier for them,” said West Virginia Lottery Public Relations and Drawing Manager Randy Burnside. “The 2-2-2 has been a lucky combination over the years and is among the most popular combinations played each week. That prize payout is significant.”

This is the game’s highest prize pay out since the numbers 2-2-2 were last drawn back on April 4 of 2016 and a total prize liability of $360,750 was shared by 1,443 tickets. That amount remains the largest prize pay out for the game that was introduced in March of 1987.

Daily 3 tickets cost only $1 and can be purchased at West Virginia Lottery retail locations up until 6:49 p.m. each draw day. Drawings are conducted Monday through Saturday at 6:59 p.m. and televised statewide. The top prize for matching all three numbers in exact order is $500.
