Couple Wins $100,000 Playing Muscle Car Money

CHARLESTON, W.Va. – Jessica and Richard Cremeans are $100,000 richer today, because the couple bought a Muscle Car Money™ ticket on their way to a high school football game Friday night.

“This is amazing,” Jessica said as she accepted the winnings at West Virginia Lottery Headquarters in Charleston on Monday. “When we scratched off the ticket…I cried.”

West Virginia Lottery Director John Musgrave said the Cremeans’ bought the winning ticket at Cheaper Cigs #4 in Huntington. The couple made a quick stop at the store on their way to a local high school football game last Friday.

“We bought two tickets,” Richard said. “The first one we scratched off was an entry ticket for the second-chance drawing.”

Jessica, a native of New Cumberland, W.Va, attended Marshall University where she met her husband, and the couple recently moved to South Point, Ohio, with their three-year-old son, Christian.

Richard said that they occasionally play lottery games and have won as much as $500 in the past, but never anything like this.

The couple already has plans for the money.

“We are going to pay some bills and put part of it into a college fund for Christian,” she said.
