$50,000 Powerball Ticket Sold in Charleston

CHARLESTON, W.VA.  – Although Mega Millions was the draw game getting all the attention as of late, Powerball quietly crept up, currently supporting a $935 million jackpot ahead of Saturday’s draw.

A $50,000 winning Powerball ticket was sold at Chesterfield House on Chesterfield Avenue in Charleston. The ticket matched four numbers plus the Power Ball, but the Powerplay option was not purchased.

The holder(s) of this ticket is encouraged to sign the back and call the West Virginia Lottery at 304-558-0500 for instructions on how to claim.

Wednesday’s numbers were 37, 46, 57, 60, 66, and the Power Ball was 8. Players are encouraged to check their tickets, for there are nine prize tiers, ranging from $4 to the jackpot.

Tickets can be purchased for $2 apiece, or $3 with the Power Play option, which increases non-jackpot prizes. Tickets for the next draw must be purchased by 9:59 pm on Saturday.
