The Voice of Pokemon’s Ash Ketchum to Appear at WVSO’s Charleston Concert With Video Game Composer Tommy Tallarico

CHARLESTON, W.Va. – Veronica Taylor, the popular voice actress known for voicing such animated characters as Pokemon’s Ash Ketchum and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ April O’Neil is coming to the West Virginia Symphony Orchestra’s “Video Games Live” concert at Charleston’s Clay Center on Saturday, Jan. 20, and the West Virginia Lottery is giving fans a chance to meet her.

Eight fans will be selected from a West Virginia Lottery social media contest to win a pair of tickets to the WVSO concert and an exclusive pre-concert meet and greet with Veronica Taylor. Fans can enter the contest by submitting a selfie of themselves with $10 worth of current West Virginia Lottery tickets and posting it to the official contest post on the Lottery’s Facebook wall, or by sharing their photo with their tickets on Instagram or Twitter. The deadline to enter is Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at 9 a.m. ET. The contest is open only to West Virginia residents who are age 18 or older. Tommy Tallarico’s popular Video Games Live concert series has toured the world over.  The 2018 Charleston show will consist of segments of video game music performed by the West Virginia Symphony Orchestra with video footage and synchronized lighting and effects, as well as several interactive segments with the audience.
